FANNIN CO., TEXAS -- TXDOT's new flashing yellow arrow is making its debut in Bonham at the junction of Highways 56 and 121.

TXDOT says this new flashing signal tells drivers that left turns are allowed, but they must yield to oncoming traffic.

They are maintaining the green arrow for protected turns, a steady yellow to warn drivers to prepare to stop and a red arrow to stop.

The yellow arrow is intended to reduce crashes for those turning left at busy intersections.
