Court documents show Stephanie Ringwald faces charges of second degree rape and related sex crimes.
Ringwald is accused of having sex with and providing alcohol to students.
The Carter County sheriff's office says they first received complaints of Ringwald's alleged sexual misconduct and providing alcohol to students from both students and parents on August 29th.
The investigation spans from early June to the start of school.

Craig Ladd says, "There are a few more allegations that are still under investigation. That stem from allegations in carter and love county that involve furnishing alcohol to minors and those are still being investigated."

Ringwald resigned from her teaching position earlier this school year. Ringwald's mother and former superintendent of Dickson schools, Sherry Howe, also resigned on October 1st.
