Former Pushmataha judge found not guilty in manslaughter case

ANTLERS, OK - After five hours of deliberations a jury found a former Pushmataha County district judge not guilty of manslaughter.

The sheriff's office says jurors handed down the verdict for Doyle Blythe Wednesday evening.

Blythe was charged with manslaughter in 2010 after he allegedly hit a child with his SUV.

Prosecutors say Blythe was driving with a suspended license when 6-year-old Riley Harralson rode his bike down a hill crashing into Blythe's vehicle killing Harralson.

Pittsburg County district attorneys prosecuted the case due to Blythe's prior connection to Pushmataha County.
