TOM BEAN, TX -- The former Tom Bean Police Chief who was arrested on Tuesday, has been arrested again.
Tom Bean Mayor Sherry Howard says Michael Webster was re-arrested Friday by the Dallam County Sheriffs Office on a warrant for misappropriation of agency property, a Class A misdemeanor charge.
Tom Bean Police Chief, John Hunt, says it stems from the sale of an AR-15, which was purchased by the Tom Bean Police Department.
Webster also faces three felony charges. He is accused of tasing one of his own officers, and stealing and selling firearms from the Tom Bean Police evidence safe.
He posted bond in both arrests.
