Former Undersheriff involved in Pushmataha County accident

PUSHMATAHA COUNTY, OK -- A former Pushmataha County Undersheriff was taken to a Tulsa hospital Wednesday night.

Troopers say around 6; 34-year-old Jeremy Jones was driving a County truck on State Highway 3, east of Antlers, when he collided with a trailer pulled by 46-year-old Timothy Martin Rees.

Jones was flown to a Tulsa hospital, but is in stable condition.

Rees was taken to a local hospital. No other passengers were injured.

Troopers believe inattention caused of the accident.
