Former Bryan County Sheriff's Lieutenant pleads guilty in Federal Court

MUSKOGEE, OK-- A former Bryan County Sheriff's Lieutenant pled guilty, Tuesday, in federal court, to using a Taser to assault a detainee.

The Justice Department says 48 year old, Kevin Bennett Holt, of Achille, admitted that he intentionally used unreasonable force and Tased the detainee who was sitting in a restraint chair.

Holt faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.

The incident happened at the Bryan County Jail in 2010.

The FBI investigated the case.
