Former Chisum substitute teacher charged with sex crimes
PARIS, TX - A substitute teacher is accused of having an improper relationship with two different students in Paris.

PARIS, TX - A substitute teacher is accused of having an improper relationship with two different students in Paris.
The Lamar County Sheriff's Office says 34-year-old Shanda Swanner was arrested last week after allegations arose that Swanner had inappropriate relationships with two male students, ages 17 and 16, while she was working as a substitute teacher for Chisum ISD at the high school.
Swanner faces charges of improper relationship between and educator and a student and sexual assault of a child. She is free on $20,000 bond.
Swanner is the second female Chisum teacher in the past two years accused of having sex with male students.
