1 killed, several others injured in Dickson 4-vehicle accident

DICKSON, OK -- A Gene Autry teen was killed and several others injured in a four-vehicle accident in Dickson Friday night.

Police say 16-year-old Rayshell Hunter died after the vehicles crashed on State Highway 199, east of Red Cedar Rd.

Dickson police say Chelsi Gunsolus,15-year-old Moriah Lopez and Faithlyn Piggee all of Ardmore were air lifted to OU Medical Center. Their conditions are unknown.

Authorities say they and Hunter were in a car going west, along with a truck, when they crashed with two vehicles traveling east.

17-year-old Stealey Brown of Overbrook, Oklahoma was the driver of the truck also heading west.

67-year-old Mary Bean of Dickson was the driver of one vehicle traveling eastbound. The second eastbound vehicle was driven by 18-year-old Hailey Sollis of Blair, Oklahoma and 24-year-old Inthirath Vongkangthong of Murfressboro, Tenn.

Dickson police say both Sollis and Vongkangthong were taken to a local hospital where they were treated and released.

Officers say the accident is under investigation, but speed may be a factor.

Hunter's funeral is set for Friday, Oct. 5 at 2 p.m. at the Crystalrock Cathedral.

A viewing will be held at Griffin-Hillcrest funeral home in Ardmore Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
