FOX, OK -- Hard work equals big time recognition for Fox Elementary School.
They received a national award Thursday evening for student achievement in math.
The students at Fox Elementary passed the most number of lessons on the website "Think Through Math", which held the March Math Madness contest.
Almost 12,000 schools competed nationwide.
Fox students spent nearly 900 hours on the website and completed more than 140,000 math problems.
Parents we talked to at Thursday night's cermony say they're proud of their children.
"I'm excited about anything that gets the kids excited about learning and they were really excited about this," said parent Jennifer Kinsey.
Fox students logged 99 hours spent on math outside the school day.
