(GARVIN COUNTY, OKLAHOMA) -- The Garvin County Sheriff's Office says around 10:30 A.M. Saturday morning a worker placed her arm into the tiger cage to tend to a lock when she was bitten.
Deputies say the G.W staff managed to get the tiger off of the employee. She was taken to OU Medical Center. In a statement released on the park's Facebook page they claim the woman violated safety protocol by placing her hand inside the cage. The zoo has been temporarily closed and the tiger is being quarantined until the investigation is over.
