WYNNEWOOD, OK -- The G.W. Interactive Zoo in Wynnewood is again under fire for alleged animal mistreatment.
The USDA has cited the zoo for not providing adequate veterinary care to one of it's animals.
USDA officials say back in April an injured bear received stitches from a veterinarian, but days later the wound re-opened and at that point, USDA says, an employee with no veterinary training attempted to stitch the bear back up.
A few days later the wound got worse and the bear had to be euthanized.
Our calls to the GW Interactive Zoo Thursday for comment have not been returned.
