GAINESVILLE, TX -- A Gainesville High School student was arrested early Wednesday morning when the student arrived to school with a knife.
According to school officials, Gainesville High School received information that a student on the morning school bus had a knife.
Principal David Glancy and campus police officers waited for the bus to arrive just before 8 a.m. and arrested the student without incident.
Officials say the student did not threaten any students or staff.
Charges are expected to be filed once an investigation is completed.
