Gainesville leaders seeking input on smoking ordinance

GAINESVILLE, TX -- Smoking restrictions could go into effect in the city of Gainesville soon.

At Tuesday's city council meeting, councilors announced they are taking resident input for a future smoking ordinance. Many council members said they've been approached by residents who want more restrictions when it comes to places smokers are allowed to smoke within the city.

If you'd like to voice your opinion, contact the city council.
