GAINESVILLE, TX -- Gainesville police are searching for who may be responsible for a drive-by shooting early Wednesday afternoon.
Officials say shots rang out on the 1800 block of Buck Street just before 1 p.m.
The house was struck, but fortunately no one was injured during the shooting.
Nearby residents say they saw a car circle the area a number of times and then heard gunfire.
A neighbor said, "I saw a gold car coming around the street fast, I stood up and looked through the door, then all I heard was boom, boom, boom, boom four gun shots. "
Authorities have not confirmed that a gold car was involved.
Residents say it's normally a quiet neighborhood.
