Gov. Fallin appoints new associate district judge for Garvin County

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Gov. Mary Fallin has appointed attorney Steven Kendall of Pauls Valley as associate district judge in Garvin County.

Kendall is currently an attorney at Garvin, Agee, Carlton and Mashburn, a law firm that focuses on civil and commercial litigation. He previously served as a private practice attorney while contracting with the Oklahoma Indigent Defense System and also served as an assistant district attorney in Cleveland County.

Kendall replaces Judge John Blake - who is retiring.
