Gov. Perry Announces TEF Investment Bringing More Than 390 Jobs to Paris

PARIS, Texas - Gov. Rick Perry announced Thursday that $1.8 million dollars from the Texas Enterprise Fund would be used to close a deal with the James Skinner Baking Co to bring the companys baking operations to Texas.

The companys production operation will bring about 390 jobs to the area.

According to the president of James Skinner Baking Co. the company plans to acquire the former multi-million dollar Sara Lee baking facilty.

Since the legislature was enacted in 2003 the TEF has been used to bring more than 66,000 jobs to Texas.

All TEF projects must be approved by the governor, lieutenant governor and speaker of the House.
