Investigation continues into Bonham toddler's murder

BONHAM, TX - Bonham Police are still investigating the murder of a two-year-old girl last month after arresting her mother's boyfriend for the crime.

Criminal District Attorney Richard Glaser says police are still investigating Michael-Chaz Allen Herman's possible involvement in the murder of two-year-old Logan Lively last month. Bonham Police arrested Herman for capitol murder after a short investigation in late October. Glaser says the case remains in the hands of the Bonham Police Department until they complete their investigation and that no charges have yet been filed by his office.

Police are awaiting complete autopsy results before concluding their investigation. Bonham Police Chief Mike Bankston said they won't get the report for another four or five weeks.

Herman is also charged with injury to a child for injures to one-year-old Colton Lively.

Herman is being held in the Fannin County Jail without bond.
