397th DISTRICT COURT

CARPENTER, JASON
42, from Prosper, was found guilty by a jury of Burglary of a Habitation and was sentenced by the judge to 50 years in prison. Carpenter was also found guilty by a jury to a second charge of Burglary of a Habitation and was sentenced by the judge to 10 years in prison.

PIERCE, NATHAN
20, from Sherman, pled guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to 15 years in prison. Pierce also pled guilty to Possession of Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine and was sentenced to five years in prison. Pierce was also sentenced to five years in prison for failing to comply with the terms of probation previously granted for Possession of Controlled Substance – Methamphetamine.

PHARES, DAVID
28, from Tioga, pled guilty to two charges of Burglary of a Habitation and was sentenced to 10 years in prison on both charges. Phares also pled guilty to another charge of Burglary of a Habitation and was sentenced to nine years in prison and a $250 fine. Phares pled guilty to Burglary of a Building and was sentenced to two years in state jail. Phares pled guilty to Criminal Mischief Damage to Habitat/Animals and was sentenced to two years in state jail. Phares also pled guilty to Evading Arrest with a Vehicle and was sentenced to two years in state jail.

40, from Whitewright, pled guilty to five charges of Theft of Property Under $1,500 and was sentenced to six years in prison on all five charges and a $400 fine.

31, from Sherman, pled guilty to one charge of Possession of Marijuana Over 50 lbs. Under 2,000 lbs. and one charge of Driving While Intoxicated 3rd or More and was sentenced to five years in prison on both charges.

SOMMERS, TYRONE
43, from Sherman, pled guilty to one charge of Tamper/Fabricate Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair and one charge of Possession of Controlled Substance –Benzylpiperazine and was sentenced to four years in prison on both charges.

51, from Southlake, pled guilty to Possession of a Controlled Substance-Methamphetamines with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to eight years in prison.

28, from Denison, was sentenced to six years in prison for failing to comply with deferred adjudication probation previously granted for Burglary of Habitation. Lester also pled guilty to Credit/Debit Card Abuse and was sentenced to 18 months state jail.

LEVERETT, BRANDON
27, from Pottsboro, was sentenced to five years in prison for failing to comply with deferred adjudication probation previously granted for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.

35, from Collinsville, pled guilty to Aggravated Assault and was sentenced to four years in prison and a $2,500 fine. Hernandez also pled guilty to Tamper/Fabricate Evidence with Intent To Impair and was sentenced to four years in prison.
