Wednesday and Thursday are Weather Aware days due to the potential for locally heavy rainfall. Beware of flooded road-ways and never drive around barricades or into water more than six inches deep. High rainfall rates may reduce visibility and also increase the risk of hydroplaning. Turn around, don’t drown! Isolated strong thunderstorms may develop late Wednesday afternoon, but widespread severe weather does not appear to be likely at this time.
GRAYSON COUNTY, TEXAS -- Grayson County precinct four welcomed county leaders to its new barn Tuesday.
Commissioner Bart Lawrence says the 24,000 square foot space will allow them to do maintenance and store equipment.
The facility was given to the county by Grayson College in exchange for what Lawrence calls "sweat equity."
County employees did some clean up and improvements to the building now they're open and ready for work.
