Grayson College hosts annual University Day

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX - Grayson College students talked with representatives from nearly a dozen universities Thursday when the college hosted their annual University day.

The event is aimed at students thinking about transferring.

It gives them a chance to meet with universities and find out more about programs they offer and what financial aid opportunities are available.

UTD, Southeastern Oklahoma, and Texas Tech were among the universities attending the event.

Accrording to academic advisor Dana Kermanian, "Many of our students don't have the opportunity to go meet with them because they're working, or have children. So we kinda bring that opportunity here to them."

The college also invited 150 students from local high schools to attend.
