Grayson County accident kills one, injures several others

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- A Grayson County crash claimed the life of a Gainesville man, and hurt several others Friday night.

DPS Troopers say 20-year-old Daniel Lashley was traveling west on FM 901 when he ran through a stop sign. He then hit a truck driven by 31-year-old Kendall Tepfer who was going north on US 377.

The crash happened around 10 p.m.

Troopers say Lashley was pronounced dead at the scene. Tepfer was taken to Wilson N. Jones.

Authorities tell us passengers in both vehicles, including a child, were taken to Dallas hospitals.

Their conditions are unknown at this time.
