RED RIVER COUNTY, TX-- The recent heavy rain has shut down one Red River County road for repairs.
Tim McAlavy with TxDOT says, FM 910 at Boggy Creek, just south of Clarksville, is closed and will remain closed until August 6th.
McAlavy says the high water at the creek caused the soil underneath the pavement to wash away.
While crews are working a detour has been set up. TxDOT says the best way to avoid the area is to head south on FM 909 and then east on FM 1487.
