U.S. 82 rollover accident injures 2

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX-Troopers say two people were sent to the hospital after a rollover accident Wednesday afternoon.

DPS troopers said a pickup was headed east on 82 towing another truck. The driver of the pickup tells us another vehicle tried to pass them on the shoulder, and to avoid colliding, the driver in the truck being towed hit the brakes, causing the lead pickup driver to lose control.

The truck being towed flipped over on the median at the intersection of Miller Road, also damaging the other pickup towing it.

Two children were in the lead pickup. They were not hurt.

The accident closed one lane of Highway 82 east for over an hour.
