The truck of his car was smashed in. I do not see anyone looking for his cell phone in the condition everything was and just randomly sticking it in his pocket.

heck 82 has been unsafe for over 20 years... nothing going to change that with resurfacing it with 20 different surfaces in a 20 mile range.... If they can't even decide what surface to use on the entire highway, how can you expect them to maintain the roads? Heck I try to do backroads before I go down 82 anymore because of just how bad it is. Just like 75 north of travis street all the way to the denison line is riddled with potholes that literally blow tires out (3 of mine so far).

If you have been on Hwy 82 then you know our tax dollars are being wasted somewhere else! the only safe lane to drive in is the passing lane. There are places in the right lane that will throw your vehicle off the highway. Hey TXDOT do your JOB! And keep the roads safe for our familys like you are suppose to.

I agree with Zach. I drive this highway every morning and afternoon. There are some serious road issues. We have had, Ice, Flood, and Heat but TXDOT refuses to repair. I hope this family sues TXDOT for road conditions and no warning signs.

RJ, so that somehow ensures that he was not on his cell phone talking or texting?

And that somehow negates the possibility that he was using it at the time of the accident? No, it proves nothing.
