Howe, Calera & Tom Bean Christmas Parade

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX & BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- Hundreds of people got in the Christmas spirit at Calera's Christmas parade Saturday!

Santa Clause made an appearance along with several other characters. Calera Nursing Home took home the title of "Best Float" and the Boy Scouts got the approval of the Calera firemen, taking home "Fireman's Choice".

TOM BEAN

More than 100 people turned out to Tom Bean's Christmas parade Saturday morning. The Tom Bean Police Department showed off their new cruisers in the parade. Several churches and organizations were also seen. Our own Maureen Kane was one of three judges.

The Tom Bean High School Band took 3rd place in the parade. The Inspiration Point Cowboy Church took home 2nd, and the Cub Scout Pack 43 claimed 1st prize.

HOWE

More than a dozen floats rode in the Howe parade Saturday evening.
The band won Most Creative. The Howe Pack 45 Cub Scouts got "Honorable Mention". The Howe Girl Scout Troops won "Best Children's Theme". The "Rocking W Ranch" won over the judges and the volunteer fire department took home "Best Christmas Movie Theme".

Children’s Center Honors Volunteers
