HOWE, TEXAS -- Sewage is still seeping into homes off Farmington Road in Howe.

It's been over a week now since Howe's sewage collection system failed and backed up into several homes.

One duplex, in particular, filled with sewage, sending residents to a hotel until their home is cleaned.

Mayor Jeff Stanley says the city has temporarily fixed the problem with the sewage station.

City council meets tomorrow night at the community center at 6:30 to discuss a long-term solution to the overflow problem.
