HUGO, OK -- A Hugo man was arrested after drugs found in his vehicle tested positive for meth.
Police say they received a call of a man with a gun in the 700-block of West Kiamichi just before 4 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers were advised from the homeowner 23-year-old Jerry Freeman fled the area, but left his vehicle at the home with the door open. In plain view they noticed a white crystallized substance that tested positive for meth.
Freeman returned to the home and was placed under arrest.
Police searched the area and found a grocery sac containing several baggies that also field tested positive for meth.
The drugs are being sent for testing and if connected to Freeman, he could face additional charges.
