Idabel teen dies in McCurtain County accident

MCCURTAIN CO., OK -- An Idabel teen is dead after the vehicle she was ejected from landed on top of her.

OHP says 16-year-old Sara Ann Coffer died from massive head and internal injuries early Sunday morning.

Troopers say the driver 18-year-old William McReynolds was driving south on U.S. 259, about a mile north of Joe Hough Road in Broken Bow, when he feel asleep and ran off the roadway.

Investigators say the vehicle fell about 30 feet into a creek bed.

McReynolds and two other passengers where taken to McCurtain Memorial Hospital, where they are all listed in stable condition.

OHP says alcohol was a factor in the collision.
