SHERMAN, TX - Families from all over Sherman turned out to an event Saturday afternoon that benefited children.
The 6th annual "Kids Entertaining Kids" was held at the Sherman Municipal Ballroom.
It's a fundraiser for the Early Childhood Intervention Program. The program helps infants and toddlers with developmental delays.
They serve 6 counties and over 600 kids each year.
They offer a varitiey of therapies and resources for families.
"Its an educational event. Although it is a fun event and a fundraiser because E.C.I. needs to make mainitence of effort, money and funds. So it's a fundraiser for their program and also for some of the families that they serve who need help through the years and we help them," said Paula Cawthon, community relations director.
The E.C.I. program has raised $80,000 in the past. This year they are hoping raise $20,000.
