La Mesa reopens after possible norovirus cases reported

SHERMAN, TX -- The popular Sherman restaurant that closed their doors because of suspected norovirus has now re-opened.

According to the Grayson County Health officials La Mesa Mexican Restaurant in Sherman is now open.

They say the restaurant voluntarily closed Wednesday after 6 employees had contracted what they believed was norovirus.

The Health Department says the restaurant has since then followed the necessary guidelines and steps to sanitize their facility and protect their staff and patrons.
