Lake Texoma Dental Care offers free dental work Friday

Lake Texoma Dental Care is offering free dental care Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Dr. Stephen McAnaney said they will serve patients on a first come, first serve basis.

He said they have volunteers on hand from all over Grayson County.

Already, people are lining up to take advantage of the free care.

Gainesville resident Tammy Bryant said her husband can't work because of his dental problems.

"I figure it's about $700 or $800 worth of work we're getting free," she said.

Bryant and her husband have been waiting since 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

McAnaney said they usually have time to take care of around 150 patients.

The event is part of a national organization called Dentistry from the Heart. Friday is the sixth time the clinic has held the free clinic.
