LAMAR COUNTY, TX -- A limousine caught fire Saturday night after bringing Honey Grove students back from their prom in Paris.

Lamar County Deputies say just before 9:30 p.m. a driver in an empty limousine was heading Eastbound on Highway 82, when he smelled smoking coming from the console. The driver pulled over and attempted to extinguish the blaze, but the fire spread and consumed the limo.

No one was injured. Authorities believe the cause was electrical.
