Weather Aware conditions continue overnight due to the potential for locally heavy rainfall. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until 7 a.m. for the northernmost portions of Texoma including Atoka, Coal, Johnston, Murray and Pontotoc Counties Beware of flooded road-ways and never drive around barricades or into water more than six inches deep. High rainfall rates may reduce visibility and also increase the risk of hydroplaning. Turn around, don’t drown! Rain ends NW to SE during the day Thursday.
BOSTON, MA -- Local runners competed Monday in the Boston Marathon.
Two runners were competing for the first time, but Gary Marlow from Denison ran last year finishing just an hour before the bombs went off.
Marlow shared some pictures of the race with us Monday including his finish and winning a medal.
We spoke with Marlow over the phone hours after finishing his eighth Boston Marathon.
Marlow said, "It was literally 12-20 people deep throughout the entire marathon route it was just unbelievable the turnout and the support, everyone wanted to come out and support the marathon."
Marlow finished the race with a time of three hours and eleven minutes.
