Two upper level waves will interact with a warm and very moist air mass to generate thunderstorms through Saturday. Lightning and torrential rainfall that could cause flash flooding are the primary threats...with a secondary threat of damaging winds. Turn around, don't drown!
SHERMAN, TX -- The project to widen the Loy Lake Bridge has been postponed due to the weather conditions.
It was supposed to start earlier this month, but now TXDOT says it won't start until February 17th.
The project to widen the existing 3 lanes to 6 is estimated to cost about 5.6 million dollars.
The finished product will have 2 through lanes and one turn lane, in each direction.
Another traffic light will also be installed at Sara Swamy Drive.
