MARSHALL COUNTY, OK -- A former fifth grade math teacher at Madill Public Schools pleaded guilty to shoplifting Thursday. Robert Michael Lowe was placed on six months probation Thursday morning in Marshall County court.

According to police, Lowe was arrested last week after a Madill Walmart employee says he spotted Lowe stealing energy drinks. When the employee tried to stop Lowe, he threw the items out of his pockets, ran to his car, and drove away. Lowe was taken into custody at his residence.

Lowe no longer works for Madill Public Schools.
