BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- A man accused of leading police on a chase last year that ended with him shot by officers is back in jail Thursday night. Spencer Cavender was arrested Thursday at a house in Mead for violating the terms of his release.
Cavender had been charged with assault with a dangerous weapon and endangering others while eluding a police officer. Authorities say in December he led Bryan County authorities on a high speed chase after stealing a sheriff deputy's vehicle.
He's currently being held without bond and is set to appear in court Friday.
