DENISON, Texas-- A Denison man died around 7 a.m. Tuesday after his car went off the northbound lanes of Texoma Parkway and crashed into a creek near Spur 503 in Denison.
Denison Police identified the driver Tuesday afternoon as 63-year-old Eddie Wayne Harbour of Denison.
"At this point it looks like this is the only vehicle involved and the only person, as far as we can tell," Lt. Mike Eppler of the Denison Police Department said.
When Denison police officers and firefighters first arrived on scene they looked for any other passengers who may have been ejected from the car, but didn't find anyone.
Police said Tuesday morning it's unclear what caused the silver sedan to leave the roadway. They said all factors, including speed and alcohol, will be looked at in their investigation.
