TIOGA, TX -- A man was taken by medical helicopter to a Plano hospital after his cement truck ran off the road in Tioga.

The accident happened around 8:30 am Monday morning.

The truck driver was headed southbound on Highway 377 when he swerved off the road, rolling for several feet.

Cement spilled out, along with what officials say could have been around 50 gallons of fuel.

Tioga Police Chief Steve Thomas said, "Just depends, we have our environmental health people, out here from the county to just make sure if there's any diesel fuel spillage or anything like that we can take care of immediately, and we're just waiting on an opportunity to upright the vehicle to see how extensive the damage is or how much has been spilled, if any."
