Scattered showers and storms could become strong to severe this afternoon into the evening. Primary threats are large hail and heavy rainfall causing flooding in poor drainage areas. Damaging winds are included as well and an isolated tornado possibility is very low but not eliminated.
ATOKA COUNTY, OKLAHOMA -- Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say they've also identified the man killed in a crash Friday, on the Atoka Pittsburg county line.
They say 51-year-old Don Edwin Moore, of Wayne, Oklahoma, died when his pickup crashed head on with a semi, rolled and caught fire.
Troopers say Moore was headed north in the southbound lanes of Highway 69.
They are still investigating why Moore was driving the wrong way.
