A Moderate to Enhanced risk for severe storms has been issued for Texoma. Storms look to become strong to severe and will be firing up around 11am. Primary threats include heavy rainfall leading to flooding, large hail, damaging winds, and an isolated tornado is possible as well but chances aren't very high. HUNT COUNTY, TX-- A Greenville man accused of causing a crash that killed a Paris man last fall is requesting a bond reduction.
The Hunt County District Clerk says, 28-year-old Mathew Daggs is currently being held on a $200,000.
Last October, authorities say Daggs was headed northbound on State Highway 224 when he crossed into oncoming traffic and hit another vehicle head on. The driver of that vehicle, 48-year-old Billy Perry of Paris, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Daggs' hearing to consider the bond reduction is set for Wednesday morning.
