Man sentenced to five years in prison after throwing nails on DPS Trooper's driveway

GRAYSON COUNTY, TX -- A Texoma man is headed to prison for throwing nails onto the driveway of a Texas Trooper.

One of the officers who worked the case says Rory Hogenson was convicted of retaliation yesterday.

Police say the trooper had pulled Hogenson over in 2011, for his second DWI and Hogenson threatened the trooper.

Officers say DPS put up cameras outside the trooper's Van Alstyne home which caught Hogenson on surveillance video casing the trooper's property.

Hogenson was sentenced to five years in prison.
