BRYAN CO, OK-A man was trapped in a burning truck after a four-car crash in Bryan county Friday afternoon.
OHP troopers said three cars were headed north on Highway 78 near Calera around 3:00 p.m. when a pick-up truck rear-ended the two other cars ahead of it. During the crash, the truck crossed the center line, hitting a red truck headed south.
Investigators said the red truck spun off the road and caught fire, trapping the driver inside. Firefighters from Calera, Achille and Durant, along with OHP and sheriff's deputies, were able to get the man out of the truck within minutes. He has been taken to TMC with non-life threatening injuries.
"I heard a loud boom and I thought it was a truck tire that blew up and I looked over and saw this red pickup spinning out of control with the fence here so I got in the car to see if I can help," said a witness, Vinny Cacace.
Another driver was sent to MCSO, injuries unknown. No names have been released.
