Man wanted in Knollwood liquor store robbery

KNOLLWOOD, TX -- The Grayson County Sheriff's Office says it is looking for a man who robbed the Knollwood Liquor and Beer Store Saturday night.

Just before 11'o clock deputies say a black male walked into the business with a handgun demanding money. Investigators say the clerk gave him cash from the register then the robber asked for the clerk's purse, but that she refused and the two got into an altercation. Deputies say the clerk grabbed the gun from the robber and shot at him, and that is when the man took off.

Authorities say the clerk was injured after being hit on the head with the gun, but that she refused treatment at the scene.

Investigators say the robber stole around $250 dollars.
