SHERMAN, TX -- A McKinney man is in jail Friday night after a high speed chase Friday through Grayson County that went right by our Sherman studios.
Grayson County Sheriff's Lieutenant Rickey Wheeler says a deputy noticed 35-year-old Danny Garrard speeding on Highway 75.
When he exited at Lamberth, Garrard took off through the red light and led deputies on a chase throughout Sherman.
Garrard eventually headed north on Texoma Parkway toward Denison, where he passed other cars on the shoulder and reached 100 miles per hour.
He eventually crashed out when he struck a parked vehicle at a Denison business.
Deputies arrested Garrard and found marijuana and paraphernalia in his car.
