MARSHALL COUNTY, OK -- The Marshall County Sheriff's Office confirms an elderly man reported missing earlier today, has been found.
His son just learned his father was missing a few hours ago.
"it was shocking to learn this morning," said Charles Lowry's son, Clay.
He says he's thankful his father has been found safe and appreciates the help of law enforcement and the public.
81-year-old Charles Lowry had been missing since Tuesday morning, when he was last seen driving from his house in the Enos-Oakview area to visit his doctor in Kingston.
He never arrived at the doctor's office and had not returned home.
Undersheriff Danny Cryer says says Lowry was found late this afternoon.
Cryer says families should make sure elderly residents have cell phones with them when they leave home.
"He had started to take his cell phone, he picked it up and looked at it and said no the battery still needs to be charged so i'm just not going to take it," said Cryer.
Lowry was found safe at his brother's house in Norman.
