OKLAHOMA -- The two children missing out of Plano, Texas have been found safe in Oklahoma.

Police say 14-year-old Brittnae and 4-year-old Brandon Hutchinsson were discovered near Oklahoma City with their biological parents Friday. They were reported missing from their foster home on July 11th.

Authorities say both parents were arrested for interference with Child Custody. They're being held on a $25,000 bond.

The children are in the care of Child Protective Services.

It is always a sad situation when children are removed from their parents. I have a comment for Anonymous..Hmmmm really a 2 yr old climbing on a bathroom vanity ?? Does your hot water heater not have a temperature gauge? Really...???

Yes, a two year old climbing on a bathroom vanity. An RN doesn't know any more about children than that? We had recently moved into the house that had three hot water heaters and I was not aware that that thermostat was set so hot as only my teenage daughter used as of that time. Are all RN so arrogant and accusatory? The child welfare agent was certainly understanding and confused about why the hospital had called---until I told him about the jerk nurse in the emergency room that was more concerned about sniffing around his female colleague and yelling at me for standing on a freshly mopped floor than he was about caring for my screaming two year old. Which prompted me to set his rear on fire and doing his job. Does having RN at the end of your name make you think you are above others?

NO RN BEHIND OUR NAME DOES NOT MAKE US ABOVE ALL OTHERS, I WORK AT CHILDRENS HOSPITAL AND IVE HAD 2 YEAR OLDS CLIMB EVERY POSSIBLE PLACE. ACCIDENTS HAPPEN AND WE KNOW IT. I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU GETTING CRAZY WITH SOMEONE WHO IS NOT TAKING CARE OF YOUR BABY. SORRY FOR THE ABOVE PERSONS RUDENESS.

My twin boys climbed like monkeys when they were two. And water heaters DO NOT have temperature gauges. They do however have thermostats which control the approximate temperature of the water. And these are located on the water heater, not on your bathroom vanity where you can easily turn them up and down to control the temperature. Accidents do happen and I hope Anonymous' two year old is doing well. No thanks to the skirt chasing nurse the mom had to deal with.

You know ist sad that cps has to take kids away from people but the way I see it is those parents must have wanted their kids if the risked jail time to go get them... y not take the crack heads kids that dont want them who leave them on every other street corner with every tom dick and harry... CPS gets involved in all the wrong cases.... but if the parents had the means to drive from OKC to ALMOST Dallas then they had to have some kind of money and transportation so they must have done something wright and y in the wrold are the kids in a diffrent state than the parents in the first place?

Check out the parents crime record on any public site and it will pretty much tell you what you need to know about them. Thanks you cps for the thankless job you have

These parents are demonstrating the poor judgement that probably caused them to loose their kids to begin with.

I don't know the specifics in this case, but I know that the power given to Child Protection Services is scary. On the other hand, I wouldn't want that job, either. It's a no win situation where common sense and discretion are not valued. My two year old burned his leg when he climbed onto a bathroom vanity and turned the hot water on with his leg under the spout. Because I was a little loud when the emergency room staff took their sweet time tending to my screaming child, they reported us to CPS and we got a home visit. Everything turned out fine but had that agent wanted to, or I had refused him entry into my house, he could have turned our lives into a hell and we had little power to stop it. Luckily, that agent was humble and open to the facts and not out to throw around his state sponsored power. But, I'm sure we now have a file somewhere about the reported suspicion of our 'child abuse' all because I had the temerity to suggest to a male nurse that his priority should be to take care of a toddler screaming in pain instead of chatting up another nurse and telling me not to stand on the freshly mopped floor.
