Mosquito dunks available to Sherman residents
SHERMAN, TEXAS -- If you live in Sherman, you can now ramp up the fight against West Nile.
The city of Sherman and the Grayson County Health Department are distributing mosquito larvicide dunks, used to treat standing water where mosquitoes breed.
The dunks only kill mosquitoes, gnats and flies.
You can get these dunks today through Friday at the Sherman Municipal Building during business hours.
You must show proof that you are a Sherman resident.
