Mount Pleasant man claims Powerball winnings

TITUS CO., TX -- Four Texans, including a Titus County man, have more money in their pockets after Wednesday night's Powerball.

The Texas Lottery Commission says Freddie Walls of Mount Pleasant claimed his one million dollar second tier prize Friday.

The winning ticket was sold at the South-End Grocery in Mount Pleasant and was a quick pick ticket, meaning the numbers were randomly selected by the computer.

Other million dollar tickets were sold in Amarillo, Arlington and San Antonio.

Only two of the four winners have come forward.
