New Fannin Co. Ag Extension office

BONHAM, TX -- It's been in the works for 14 years. Now the Fannin County Ag Extension office will finally get it's own building.

Commissioners voted unanimously Monday, to buy this building on North Center Street in Bonham for $225,000 dollars.

County Judge Spanky Carter says it'll be paid in full with cash. So, no taxes will be raised.

The building will house the Ag Extension office and 4-H groups. Judge Carter says they outgrew their small office, so this will provide them with plenty of space for their programs.
