PARIS, TX-- The Paris Economic Development Corporation has two new board members and a new chairman.

Donald Wilson and John Brockman were sworn into the PEDC Tuesday afternoon.

The two were appointed by the city council Monday night, replacing Vicki Ballard, who didn't seek reappointment, and Bruce Carr who resigned earlier this year.

Stephen Grubbs was unanimously elected the new chair of the PEDC, taking over the spot recently held by Rebecca Clifford.

"I believe so much in what we're doing here at the PEDC, and I believe so much in Paris and what we can do," said PEDC Chair Stephen Grubbs. "So anyway I can serve, in any capacity, I was willing to do that."

John Brockman was elected as vice chairman, and Rebecca Clifford was selected as secretary treasurer.
